Agriculture Science II

Power Standards

This course focuses on plant and crop science, soils, entomology, horticulture, and forestry with additional instruction in agricultural mechanics, career development, leadership and supervised agricultural experience.

I. All students will demonstrate and apply appropriate safety practices.

II. All students will demonstrate skills necessary to find and earn employment (resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc).

III. All students will consistently demonstrate professional soft skills necessary to keep employment (relations with others, work ethic, dependability, etc).

IV. All students will recall and expand FFA knowledge.

V. All students will research, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources to create a presentation over a given topic.

VI. All students will demonstrate and identify proper parliamentary procedures.

VII. All students will demonstrate proper technique in completing various applications (State Degree, proficiency awards, etc).
